Brentwood Communications reaches new heights with the construction of Heron Tower, EC2

Once again the team at Brentwood Communications has risen to the challenge to provide construction specialists Skanska and Clipfine with unique solutions to ensure effective, on site two way radio communications during the construction for Heron Tower, one of the tallest structures in the city of London.

Amongst the manHeron Towery considerations for construction sites - such as the one at Heron Tower - is the need for radio equipment to be easy to use, robust and weatherproof.  In addition, achieving 100% site coverage and ground to crane coverage can prove extremely difficult.  Using two way radio communications in cities like London also presents its own set of complications, specifically where there is high usage of equipment with multiple users and sites utilising the same frequency.

Using our extensive knowledge and experience in this challenging environment, Brentwood Communications recommended the use of Motorola’s GP340 radios installed on site with dedicated frequencies to ensure additional clarity and no interference from other radio users in the vicinity.

Read about more of the work we have carried out for the construction industry in our sector pages.  Further case studies demonstrating the success of our work undertaken in our clients challenging indoor and outdoor environments across the UK can be viewed here.

Brentwood Communications provides bespoke solutions for business, personal or leisure use - no matter how large or small your needs.  Our team would be pleased to discuss your requirements for the hire or purchase of a digital two way communication system and you can call us free on 0800 0747 312 or enquire now.

p.s. Don’t forget that we can also repair your radios – to download our fixed price repair list click here.

Will Young Concert Staff use Two Way Radios from Brentwood Communications

Two way radio event hireBrentwood Communications provides further two way radios for events and festivals across the UK and beyond and are proud to have been associated with the Will Young “The Hits” Tour showing for only one night in Essex at Lake Meadows, Billericay.

This venues’ security staff required a robust temporary two way radio solution to supplement existing communications and something that also provided clarity of sound and reception in a high noise environment.

Brentwood Communications were approached for a weekend hire package of two way radios  for the event on Sunday 25th July and supplied Motorola GP340 two way radios in an all inclusive package which saw them arrange licences, supply the equipment , installation, training and system decommissioning at the end of the hire period.

It has been a busy event season this summer for Brentwood Communications and some of the work we are doing for event and festival organisers and their security companies can be seen in our case studies section
