MALAWIAN ROCK FESTIVAL CONFIRMS BRENTWOOD COMMUNICATIONS AS A SPONSOR

Brentwood Communications presence at festivals and events is not just limited to the UK either – we are proud once again to announce that we will be sponsoring the two way radio communications for the vinspired Lake of Stars Festival 2010

Running from the 15- 17th October 2010, the festival is staged on the shores of Lake Malawi in the heart of Africa and is an eclectic mix of music, the arts, film, theatre and culture.  This year’s first line up announcements include the Noisettes, Oliver Mtukudzi and  Peter Mawanga.

Since its inception in 2004 the event has grown considerably in size each year and is now one of the leading cultural festivals in Africa.  As well as generating over £100,000 for the Malawian Economy each year, Lake of Stars has donated funds to UNICEF, Build Malawi and Malawi Health Care Support in the past. 

For 2010, the festival have selected the Malawian Microloan Foundation as their chosen charitable recipient and Brentwood Communications is delighted to be able to support their efforts in fundraising for this, one of the poorest countries in Africa.
